After receiving the keys on the 27th March and a month of work on the premises later, The Kitten's Emporium was opened on Saturday 2nd May 2026 by the Mayor of Test Valley with the Mayoress also in attendance to rave reviews.​

 

TKE is very much the inside of Kitty's brain with its incredibly 'on-brand' pink, whimsical vibes and fantasy experience from entering to exiting; the shop boasts a light up sakura blossom 'tree', as well as fairy light ficus 'trees', huge angel wings for a photo op, clouds in the corridor, many a neon, cats and paw prints painted on the walls and a running theme of smiley faces and disco balls and, of course, over 30 Independent small businesses!

With everything from fun jewellery and accessories, ethereal crystals and holistics, gnarly instruments and musical accessories, mythical dragon collectibles, kids' clothing to dopamine dress your little ones, eco-friendly reusable items, wholesome homewares, personal pampering, and much, much more.

There's also a second room down the corridor that features both brand new and secondhand shoes and unisex clothing, gymwear to get your body moving, funky handmade accessories and a beautiful dressing room to try anything you might like on.
